Patricia L. Foster is a psychiatrist with more than 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has an extensive background in a wide range of treatment settings, eg. in-patient, out-patient, schools, inner city and chronic care facilities. She looks for a person’s strengths and talents as well as their difficulties. Treatment should be a working partnership for the best outcome. Her outlook is caring, compassionate and hopeful no matter what the issues. Each patient is unique with treatment specific to his or her needs.
She has fellowship training in psychopharmacology and is board-certified in both Adult and Child Psychiatry. She is also a member of the Boulder County Medical Society.
Dr Foster will communicate as needed with a person’s other treating professionals, eg., primary care practitioner, therapist and teachers, tutors or schools with children and adolescents.
